Jamie says he will send you the station / rail reference. Daugu likely has 2 stations which go to different places and only one has KTX stop--but that may not be the most convenient for where you need to end up on any given day. Likewise if you travelling to Daejeon--2 stations. BUT the upside of ending up in the wrong side of town is that taxis are dirt cheap and plentiful--all you have to do is find a 'relatively' main road and flag one down. We carried around a bit of paper for cabbies. Even tho we thought we said where we wanted to go-- they didn't understand-- but the bit of paper worked wonders!
